Meet The Team
STX Origin Story
Founder Jordan McPherson launched STX Flooring Solutions in June 2020 as a side venture, driven by a desire to create something of his own. The name "STX" is inspired by St. Croix—a place where Jordan and his wife once lived and built a life they hold close to their hearts. It serves as a daily reminder of the value of hard work and the dream of one day returning to that special place.

With a background in the flooring industry dating back to 2017, Jordan brings extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of surfaces and settings. His expertise includes polished concrete, epoxy coatings, concrete overlayments, and a variety of floor coverings such as laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet, and rubber. Over the years, he has successfully led flooring projects in diverse environments—from big-box retail stores exceeding 150,000 square feet to hospitals, hotels, churches, universities, public schools, and county facilities.

What began as a small side business quickly evolved into a full-time passion for craftsmanship and delivering high-quality service, leading Jordan to leave a successful career as a pilot and dedicate himself fully to building the business.
While STX has grown, it remains grounded in a strong culture of teamwork, where every team member is valued equally. Today, STX Flooring Solutions proudly serves clients across the Kansas City and Northwest Arkansas regions, and beyond.
